In the fall of 1998, Kaanapali Beach Properties, Inc. opened its doors at one of the most recognizable locations in West Maui, “Right In Front of Star Market”. We were very fortunate to grab one of West Maui’s most visible locations, which has added to the successes of our company.

Kaanapali Beach Properties, Inc. is a full service real estate corporation founded by Ken Rothman. Originally from the New York area, Ken arrived on Maui in 1977 and has been licensed to sell real estate in Hawaii since 1984. Ken believes in taking care of the client first.

Selling real estate is another service that Kaanapali Beach Properties, Inc. offers to their clients. All of our sales people appreciate the expert attention to detail we demonstrate to our clientele. Buyers, sellers, owners and renters all recognize the benefits of our professional services. Our Realtors have assisted in the sales of almost every subdivision and condominium on West Maui. Ken Rothman led project sales for Napili Gardens condominium development and the development sales for the new Kahana subdivision, Pu’u Kahana. Additionally, we have successfully consulted and coordinated development projects.

Kaanapali Beach Properties, Inc. has a unique focus on management. We look for property owners who have upgraded and remodeled their properties for their own use. After renovation, they need management that will closely watch over their property. This is where we come into the picture.

We enjoy getting to know all of our guests by personally checking them into the home or condominium they have rented. We are available throughout their stay if they need to contact us for any reason. Our guests are clearly informed that the property they are renting is someone’s second home. Therefore, we have a credit card guaranty from every guest to protect our clients’ property. Alan Engstrom runs the Management Division of Kaanapali Beach Properties, Inc. who has an accommodating disposition which makes every vacationer feel welcomed to the island.

One of our unique qualities is accommodating monthly rentals. Many of our owners have taken such good care of their property that they prefer offering monthly rentals. We offer some of the best monthly rental rates on Maui.
